New Day Confirmed for NSCAC Kickoff Clinic
Mother Nature often has a habit of interrupting our best-laid plans and she did exactly that during the first week of May. Rain forced us to postpone the May 6 coaching clinic but we can now confirm that Thornhill Soccer Club has agreed to once again host the NSCAC Kickoff Clinic at their facility, St. Robert's CHC, Sat June 3 from 11am to 2pm.
Due to the rescheduled date, one of our three clinicians, Richard Bucciarelli, will not be able to attend but we are happy to report we have secured the services of goalkeeping coach Riccardo Greco, of Extreme Goalkeeper Academy, who has agreed to conduct a special goalkeeping session for member coaches. NSCAC Director of Coaching and Thornhill SC Technical Director Kosmas Mouratidis, as well as our featured international guest coach, Kevin McGreskin (pictured below), will both return to conduct their originally scheduled sessions.
NSCAC members who registered for the postponed event are welcome to attend on the new date. If you did not register for the May 6 event, you may do so for the new date by completing the online form at our website, nscac.ca. If you are not yet a NSCAC member, complete your membership application online at nscac.ca and you will then be eligible to register for this FREE clinic.

Contribute to the Journal
Posted 05/15/17
The inaugural issue of The Journal for Soccer Coaches (cover picture at left), the NSCAC’s official publication, was very well received upon its release last month and we wish to acknowledge and thank all the coaches who submitted their contributions to the first issue. A digital version of the publication can be found at nscac.ca.
Our next issue is planned for release in the fall and, with that in mind, we'd like to invite soccer coaches across the country to submit their articles, session plans, training tips and all other contributions to the Journal’s Managing Editor, Alf De Blasis, at alfdeblasis@gmail.com.
We would also like to acknowledge and thank our advertising partners who made it possible for us to produce the type of publication we envisioned and one that our member coaches can be proud of. If you would like to inquire about advertising in the next issue, please contact the NSCAC’s Director of Marketing & Communications, Alf De Blasis, at alfdeblasis@gmail.com.
